Cause: ex-fpr,bu. ex-weather cok '70. built in 1960 by commell laird & co ltd, birkenhead. owned at time of loss by the vericos co. 4 stroke, 6 cylinder oil engine of 1088 bhp, single shaft. passage liverpool for pireaus under tow with vernicos barbara iv, by vernicos giorgis. towing vessel fouled prop on the tow during a gale and all 3 tugs were blown onto rocks and became a ctl. (sibi).
