(KINGFISHER OBSTN BOOKLET - WHITBY AREA). H6331/87 26.1.89 EXAM'D 20.4.88 IN 543042N, 002812W [OGB] USING TRISPONDER [4 LOP]. LEAST E/S DEPTH 49 IN GEN DEPTH 52MTRS. NO SCOUR. DCS3 HT 3.5MTRS, LENGTH 24MTRS, BEAM 3MTRS. LIES 055/235 DEG, SOMEWHAT DECAYED. (LAND & MARINE, HI 414B). INS AS WK 49MTRS. BR STD. HH100/351/10 24.11.95 VERY DECAYED, THUS IRON BUILT. SINGLE BOILER WITH STEAM COMPOUND ENGINE, PROBABLY ENGINE AFT. PROBABLY BIGGER THAN SURVEYED LENGTH. POSSIBLE BOMB ON STBD SIDE OF BOILER. LONG, THIN, NET WHICH LOOKS LIKE A MAST IS HUNG UP FROM THE ENGINE, WHICH IS ALSO COVERED WITH NET. BOILER AND WINCH IN BOW AREA ARE ONLY PROMINENT POINTS. PORTHOLE AND TELEGRAPH LOCATED. RIBBING AND A FEW AREAS OF PLATING GIVE THE OUTLINE OF THE VESSEL, NOT MUCH SEEN AFT OF THE ENGINE. (A C JACKSON & C A RACEY). SEP 2017/000002822 3.5.17 EXAM'D 14.12.16; IN 5430.709N, 0028.288W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 48.62MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 51MTRS, LENGTH 21.7MTRS, WIDTH 4.6MTRS, HEIGHT 3.23MTRS, ORIENTATION 060/240 DEGS. WRECK APPEARS TO BE UPRIGHT AND INTACT, BUT IS SEVERELY DISINTEGRATED. (MMT, HI 1491). AMEND NDW 48MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
