HIGHEST POINT IS THE PROPELLOR WHICH IS 9FT ABOVE SEABED. (RAF BRIZE NORTON REPORT, DTD 21.7.74). NCA, POSN 553109.5N, 050330W FOR FILING ONLY. H1310/80/34 27.10.80 STATED TO HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED AS WRECKAGE OF HAWKER HURRICANE BY RAF MUSEUM, HENDON, FROM PARTS RECOVERED FROM THE WK. (D JOHNSTON, DTD 24.10.80). NCA. H1955/79 5.6.81 NOT FOUND DURING DCS3 SEARCH. POSN NOT CLOSE SOUNDED. LOCALS CONFIRM THAT WK OF AN AIRCRAFT LIES IN VICINITY OF THIS POSN. (HMS HERALD, HI 47/80). NCA. 19.1.04 SUPERMARINE SEAFIRE AIRCRAFT, A MODIFIED SPITFIRE FOR AIRCRAFT CARRIER USE, IN 5531.158N, 0503.500W [OGB]. A MERLIN ENGINE LIES APPROX 500MTRS NW OF MAIN WKGE.
