Cause: 4.11.1917 built by blohm & voss in hamburg. launched 4.11.1917, commissioned 26.5.1918. twin oil engines, twin propellers. 1 x 8.8cm deck gun, 4 bow tubes & 1 stern tube. sunk by hms ouse and armed trawler hms star. (r young).

HH100/351/15 25.10.99 LIES IN 5514.460N, 0122.473W [WGD] USING GPS. ON A SEABED OF FINE SAND AND BROKEN SHELLS IN GEN DEPTH 53MTRS. LEAST DEPTH 49MTRS. IN 1973 WAS NOTED AS UPRIGHT AND STILL INTACT, SURROUNDED BY A SCOUR. NOW REPORTED TO BE BROKEN INTO TWO PARTS, EACH STANDING 2-3MTRS HIGH AND SURROUNDED BY A 1MTR SCOUR. (R YOUNG).
