Cause: submarine, built 1944 at naval dockyard-wilhelmshaven, depth charged by escorts 'hms fame', 'havelock' and 'inconstant' 10m nw of pointe de talbat. (german submarines 2). 18.06.44 stated as having been attacked in 490300n, 031300w on 18.06.44. (br 1736).
