Cause: built in 1915 by w kaiserl., danzig as type ue 1 minelayer. reported as missing after being sent to lay mines and return in to base. did not return or send any report. thought to have been sunk by own mines. (k heath) stated to have been sunk by gunfire from 4 rn trawlers while laying a minefield. (diver magazine oct '10)
