LEAST E/S DEPTH 54 IN GEN DEPTH 60MTRS. NO SCOUR. DCS3 HT 6.8MTRS, LENGTH 33MTRS. LIES 090/270 DEG WITH CENTRAL HIGH POINT. LARGE MAGNETIC ANOMALY. (HMS BULLDOG, HI 533). AMEND TO WK 54MTRS.

- NM 783/92. HH100/351/14 4.6.99 WK DIVED ON 1.6.99 AND CONFIRMED TO BE A GERMAN SUBMARINE. THIS COULD POSSIBLY BE U 672. THE SINKING CIRCUMSTANCES OF THIS VESSEL WERE SUCH THAT ITS LOCATION SOME DISTANCE FROM WHERE IS WAS ATTACKED WOULD NOT BE SURPRISING. (I MCCARTNEY, FAX DTD 3.6.99). NCA. 25.6.99 IDENTITY TO BE CINC.
