Name: TRAUTE SARNOW

Length 39.4 meter, width: 7.5 meter, draught: 3, tonnage 300 ton
Load: coal

Cause: built in 1951 by maschnenb. anstralt, flensburg. owned at time of loss by heinrich sarnow. 8 cylinder oil engine, single shaft. passage carfiff for ostend. went aground in thick mist on the e side of gurnards head. no lives lost. (sibi).

H1485/63 22.3.71 WRECKAGE OF COASTER ON GURNARDS HD HAS NOW DISINTEGRATED, WHAT METAL REMAINING HAS BEEN REMOVED & DUMPED ON THE CLIFF TOP BY AN ENTERPRISING CORNISH SCRAP DEALER. (HMS WOODLARK, HI 41/70). AMEND DEAD. 13.12.11 LOCATED 30.1.11 BY MAGNETOMETER ONLY. (FUGRO OSAE, HI 1157). AMEND LIVE. NCA.
