Cause: built of iron in 1883 by g h smith & co, newcastle-upon-tyne. owned at time of loss by j milbur. single boiler, compound expansion engine of 60 hp, single shaft. machinery by clarke, chapman & co. passage pwllheli for london in ballast. standed and lost in heavy weather.

(T PRICHARD, ARTICLE IN SUB-AQUA WORLD, MAY'70). HH100/351/01 18.7.89 REMAINS OF STEEL VESSEL MORE THAN 100FT LONG. TRIPLE EXPANSION ENGINE, BOILER AND PLATES REMAIN IN 12MTRS AT LW. WELL SALVAGED. PROP SHAFT ON ROCKS IN ABOUT 6MTRS. (M S DUKE, 5.7.89). NCA. HH100/351/01 22.11.89 REFERRED TO AS THE TIMBO. (M S DUKE, 1.11.89). HH100/351/03 3.9.90 POSN 524830.5N, 042645.5W, FIXED BY DECCA.
