Length 40.7 meter, width: 7.4 meter, draught: 2.6, tonnage 326 ton
Load: coal

Cause: built in 1937 by n v schpsw, foxhol. owned at time of loss by d schothorst. four cylinder oil engine of 84bhp, single shaft. passage partington for fremington. broached to and was overwhelmed by a following sw sea during a gale. capsized and later sank. seven crew rescued, three lives lost. (sibi).

(MESSRS BOWEN & MATTHEW, VISIT TO HO). 28.11.72 SHOWN AS SW 10.9MTRS IN 514140N, 050842.5W [OGB] ON CONTRACT SURVEY DTD [K6484, 1972]. NC 3274. H1310/84/30 5.9.84 DIVED ON 25.8.84. LEAST DEPTH AT 1130Z WAS 18MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 22.5MTRS. LIES NEARLY UPSIDE-DOWN WITH BOW CRUMPLED AND PROPELLER MISSING. MAINLY INTACT. DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN PROFESSIONALLY SALVAGED.
