Cause: built in 1913 by cook, welton & gemmel of beverley, yorkshire. owned by the north western steam fishing co. single boiler, triple expansion engine of 59 hp for 10 knots. single shaft. machinery by c d holmes. requisitioned in august 1914 as minesweeper hmt fy-254. retured to owners in 1919. sold in october 1919 to thomas bascombe of grimsby, in october 1935 to dobson ship repair co and in 1940 to the perihelion steam fishing co. sank after collision with ss kooga (1100 tons). nine men lost.
