Cause: ex-san francisco, ex-turia, ex-lansdown tower. built of iron in 1882 by wigham richardson & co, newcastle-upon-tyne. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 313nhp, single shaft. passage barcelona for liverpool. beached on the pluckington bank about 225yds about sw half w (mag) of s pierhead of the entrance to the dukes dock after collision. later broke in two.
