Cause: built in 1892 by wigham richardson & co, newcastle upon tyne. owned at time of loss by the royal hungarian sea navigation co ltd. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 237 hp, single shaft. passage opporto for glasgow. general cargo. stranded in dense fog.

Details measurements/cartography: H3542/68 27.9.68 H3542/68 27.9.68 ABOUT 2000 TON VESSEL, POSSIBLY A CARGO CARRIER. HIGHEST PART OF THE WRECKAGE IS THE BOILER WHICH STANDS ABOUT 17FT HIGH ON A SEABED OF SMALL BOULDERS. GENERAL HEIGHT OF WRECKAGE IS NOT IN EXCESS OF 9FT. THE WRECK HAS BEEN SALVAGED BY A FIRM CALLED ROUSE ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO. THE WESTERLY SWELL TIDE HAS CAUSED A MOVEMENT OF WRECKAGE WESTWARD INTO PORTH LLAUOG. ONE BOILER STANDS MIDWAY BETWEEN THE COAST OF RAMSEY AND A ROCK CALLED BANCYN FFALD. SEABED IS FREE OF WEED. POSSIBLE HAZARD TO SHIPS IN THE AREA FROM THE BOILER AT LOW WATER. (R EDMONDS, 13.9.68).
