Cause: iron vessel, built 1881, by dobson & charles, grangemouth, sank following a collision with allen line ss 'buenos ayrean'. she was on passage to dublin & sank in 2 minutes about 2m e of holy isle. only 1 of 13 crew rescued. (clyde shipwrecks & off scotland)
