Cause: built in 1955 by n v scheepsw gebr van der werf, deest. owned at time of loss by w woolaway & sons ltd, barnstaple. oil engine of 273 hp, single shaft. was returning to barnstaple fully laden with sand. developed a severe list, capsized and sank.
