THE BOILERS ARE THE BIGGEST ITEM LEFT. KNOWN LOCALLY AS THE 'SAINT ANDREW'. WRECKED ABOUT 50 YEARS AGO IN THICK FOG. (B G SHEPPARD, LTR DTD 23.9.68). 9.12.74 POSITIVELY IDENTIFIED AS 'ST ANDRE' AFTER RECOVERY OF MAKER'S NAME PLATE. ENGINE MAKERS PLATE RECOVERED FROM WK. (P BAKER, LTR DTD 3.12.74). H1289/76 26.10.76 CONSISTS MAINLY OF PLATES. BOILER STILL INTACT. IN GEN DEPTH 70FT. (B RANNER, RAF WEST DRAYTON). 18.1.82 WELL BROKEN UP IN 17 TO 22.5MTRS. (BSAC WK REGISTER, VOL 4). HH090/843/01 21.12.99 EXAM'D 30.8.99 IN 5537.880N, 0137.270W [WGD] USING DGPS. LEAST E/S DEPTH 14.9 IN GEN DEPTH 17MTRS. NO SCOUR. LENGTH 3MTRS, WIDTH 2MTRS. DCS3 HTS 2.8 AND 3MTRS.
