Cause: built in 1884 by bremer schffsb, ges vegesack. two boilers, compound expanion engine pf 99 nhp, single shaft. passage from penarth. believed to have been sunk by a mine. (sibi). torpedoed. (master's report 1918). sank when struck belbeck shoal in 500346n, 054438w. (coast-watcher at sennen cove, but master's report was accepted).

HYDROSEARCH HT [SHADOW] 8.4MTRS; [VERTICAL] 14.1MTRS. LENGTH 53MTRS, BEAM 15MTRS. LYING 325/145DEGS WITH BOWS APPARENTLY NW. HULL IS BROKEN AMIDSHIPS AND THERE ARE HIGH POINTS NEAR BOW AND STERN. CHART AS WK 53MTRS. POSSIBLY THE SIRIUS [16276]. (HMS BULLDOG, HI 360). INS AS WK 53MTRS.
