Details measurements/cartography: 4.12.07 DIVED 10.12.06 IN 5558.311N, 0218.654W [WGD] USING GPS. STANDS 4MTRS HIGH BY DEPTH GAUGE AND E/S. NO SCOUR. LENGTH 30MTRS, WIDTH 6MTRS, HT 4MTRS BY ESTIMATION. TIP OF BOW MISSING SO LEAVES A FOOT GAP AT BOW. DECK HAS DISAPPEARED LETTING EVERYTHING THAT WAS ON DECK FALL INTO THE HOLD, THUS THERE WAS A FRAMEWORK WITH A WINCH FWD INSIDE THE HULL. SMALL BOILER AFT. ON THE STERN WAS A LARGE DIAMETER (3MTR), SIX-SPOKED WHEEL, SAT UPRIGHT MIDSHIPS WITH A LARGE CRANK ATTACHED. CLOSE TO STBD WAS ANOTHER WHEEL SOME 1MTR IN DIAMETER, WITH A SHAFT LEADING AWAY FROM THE WRECK WHICH STOPPED AT A ?LUMP OF METAL. THE BUCKET SYSTEM WAS CLOSE STBD. BUCKETS SAY 1.5MTRS WIDE. THERE WAS A WHOLE PILE OF STUFF ON THE STBD SIDE BUT IT LOOKED LIKE MORE OF THE DREDGE SYSTEM. CINC REQUESTED. (DIVED BY J MCLEOD & M SINCLAIR, VIA I EASINGWOOD). INS AS WK 35MTRS. BR STD. 20.9.12 THIS IS SCOTIA. (DIVER MAGAZINE, OCT 2012). CINC DELETED. SEP 2021/000090526 1.4.21 EXAM'D 12.4.20 IN 5558.321N, 0218.655W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 38.93MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 42MTRS, LENGTH 32MTRS, WIDTH 10MTRS, HT 3.1MTRS, ORIENTATION 002/182 DEGS. WK UPRIGHT WITH BOW MISSING. (MERITAITO, HI1591). AMEND NDW 38MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
