COMMERCIAL GUARD REQUESTED. 10.3.93 APPLICATION TO PURCHASE WK. ARTIFACTS RECOVERED FROM SHALLOW SITE ADJACENT TO THE STAGS INDICATE THIS TO BE THE 'ROYAL ANNE GALLEY'. (R SHERRATT, 3.3.92, LETTER TO DISPOSAL SALES SECTION). ADU TO EXAMINE SITE AND MAKE RECOMMENDATION REGARDING DESIGNATION AS A PROTECTED SITE. HH232/420/02 1.12.93 RESTRICTED AREA 100MTRS RADIUS CENTRED ON 495727N, 051256W [OGB] DESIGNATED AS PROTECTED SITE. (STATUTORY INSTRUMENT 2526/93).
