Cause: built in 1937 by harland & wolff, with diesel engines of 4000bhp. ran ashore near narvik during the norwegian campaign. later the vessel was swept from the rocks and sank. (dods).

H4043/80 31.3.81 REPORTED TO HAVE BEEN LOCATED IN 60-80MTRS DEPTH, OFF VESTERAASEN ISLANDS, BY NORWEGIAN AMATEUR DIVERS. WRECK DESCRIBED AS BROKEN IN TWO AND IN ADVANCED STATE OF DECAY.
