Cause: built in 1908 by j fullerton & co, paisley. owned at time of loss by g b wadsworth of goole. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 163 hp, single shaft. machinery aft by ross & duncan of glasgow. armed with one 3.5 inch gun. torpedoed & sunk by dc-59 6m ssw of copinsay, orkney. five men lost. (sibi) 23.4.07 vessel struck a mine laid by uc 59, she was not torpedoed. (k heath, e-mail dtd 23.4.07)

LEAST M/B DEPTH 53.14 IN GEN DEPTH 58.2MTRS. SCOUR 1.9MTRS DEEP EXTENDS 11MTRS TOWARDS 300 DEGS. LENGTH 68.6MTRS, WIDTH 12.5MTRS, HT 4.5MTRS. LIES 028/208 DEGS WITH BOWS TOWARDS 028 DEGS. INTACT. HAS A BUILD-UP OF SAND TO THE SE AND THE SCOUR TO THE NW. HIGHEST POINT IS AT THE STERN. THREE OTHER CONTACTS IN THE CLOSE VICINITY WHICH APPEAR TO BE ROCK OUTROPS. (NETSURVEY LTD, HI 1137).
