Cause: ex-ethot romanos. ex-marstonmoor. built in 1890 by j redhead & sons, south shields. owned at time of loss by damps selsk. primula. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 234 nhp, single shaft. passage the tyne for bordeaux. torpedoed by ub-40. (dods, ll ww1 & sibi).
