Cause: built 1938 at southampton, with two oil engines, twin shaft. machinery by dorman diesel ltd. probably a converted mtb. passage island of arran & rothesay to campbeltown. eight lives lost, 10 rescued, when she sank after the engine-room flooded in 50knot gale. (sibi)
