Cause: built in 1897 by ropner & son, stockton-on-tees. owned at time of loss by constantine & pickering ss co. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 235 nhp, single shaft. passage rouen for port talbot. shelled and captured by uc-65 and sunk by gunfire 6m sw from hartland point. 3 men lost. (ww1sl & sibi).
