Cause: built in 1902 by russell & co, port glasgow. owned at time of loss by tank storage & carriage co ltd. dragged anchor during gale and went aground. oil cargo caught fire. wreck was broken up in situ. had just arrived at falmouth from trinidad. (sibi).
