Cause: built in 1917 by superior shipbuilding co. owned at the time of loss by cie. francaise des chemins de fer de paris-orleans. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 274 nhp, single shaft. passage from st nazaire. torpedoed and sunk. (dods & sibi). sank at once. survivors picked up by ss janwold.
