Cause: built in 1867 by lawrence, nova scotia. owned at time of loss by w p williams, bangor. passage sapelo, georgia for liverpool. wrecked in nw x n force 9-12. crew of 21 recovered by coxswain edward jones, holyhead lifeboat, who won an rnli silver medal. (ll & sibi).

LEAST M/B DEPTH 8.03 IN GEN DEPTH 9.3MTRS. SCOUR 0.6MTRS DEEP. LENGTH 32.4MTRS, WIDTH 15.5MTRS, HT 1.27MTRS. TWO PROTRUDING OBJECTS, THE NORTHERN SITS IN A SMALL SCOUR. COULD BE NATURAL FEATURES OR DEBRIS. POSSIBLE DEBRIS FIELD TO THE NE. DIMENSIONS ARE FOR THE AREA OF POSSIBLE WRECKAGE. (NETSURVEY, HI 1420). PROBABLE SEABED ITEMS. INS AS OBSTN 8MTRS.
