LIES W/E. MAGNETOMETER INDICATES STEEL VESSEL. (HMS FOX, HI 357). - NM 1184/88. HH100/351/07 26.7.93 DIVED ON RECENTLY. LIES WITH BOW W. HIGHEST POINT IS AFTER ACCOMMODATION & WHEELHOUSE. NOT IDENTIFIED. UPRIGHT & INTACT. GALLEY PLATES & CUPS, & TELEGRAPH BRITISH MADE. NO SIGNS OF CARGO IN LARGE CENTRE HOLD. A LARGE TRAWL HAS SNAGGED THE PORT BOW & IS HELD ABOUT 6MTRS ABOVE THE HULL BY FLOATS. (K HURLEY, DTD 22.7.93). 4.3.94 DIVED ON SEVERAL TIMES. NO POSITIVE IDENTIFICATION BUT POTTERY & BOTTLE FOUND HAVE BEEN EXPERTLY IDENTIFIED AS FROM 1900-1910 PERIOD. CONSIDER THIS WK IS PROBABLY THE CLYTIE. (K HURLEY, TELECON). HH100/351/09 22.2.95 WK, THOUGHT POSSIBLY TO BE THAT OF THE `PAMELA' AS IT APPEARS SIMILIAR TO A PHOTOGRAPH OF VESSEL. AMMUNITION FOUND ON VESSEL IS DATED 1943, AS IS TELESCOPE FOUND. VESSEL'S CARGO WAS BARLEY HENCE ITS EMPTY HOLD. COMMERCIAL GUARD REQUESTED ON THIS DATA. (S A RODGER, LTR DTD 8.2.95). NCA. HH100/351/11 19.6.96 PHOTOGRAPH OF PAMELA HELD.
