Cause: built in 1911 by j t eltringham & co ltd, south shields. owned at time of loss by thorne line ltd. one boiler, compound expansion engine of 74 nhp, single shaft. machinery aft by barid bros, north shields. passage liverpool for coleraine. drove ashore and was lost in fog. perched on saddle rk, near the maidens lt ho but was later lost. (ll & sii).
