Cause: built in 1918 by r cock & co, appledore. owned at time of loss by r cock & sons ltd. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 72nhp, single shaft. machinery aft by plentt & son, newbury. passage par for aberdeen. sprang a leak in the after part of the engine room, was abandoned and later sank. (TH, 9.12.35). H1310/87/1 - H1270/86 27.1.87 27.1.87 WK LOCATED IN 501641N, 043426W [OGB] USING DECCA & MAGNETOMETER. IDENTIFIED AS THE ORCHIS. (T P FORD, 8.1.87). CHART AS NDW. BR STD. H1310/87/1 5.3.87 WK STANDS ABOUT 6MTRS HIGH IN GEN DEPTH 43MTRS. IT LIES IN TWO SECTIONS, ORIENTATED 060/240DEGS. IDENTIFIED BY BUILDER'S PLATE. (T P FORD, 13.2.87). PLOTS VERY CLOSE TO OWEN RK.
