Cause: 16.07.2019 details recieved from falmouth coastguard dtd 16.7.2019a. f/v ocean harvest || mabh4 || uk flag b. 49 59.76n 005 37.9w, 2.5nm south porthcurno beach c. distress,fire.d. 2 (now safe)e. nil at this timef. cgoc falmouthg. 11 meter fishing vessel, reported on fire, 1500l diesel on board & the vessel drifting towards land at 1?1.5knts. 2persons rescued from the vessel after abandoning to life raft. ocean harvest continues to burn. sennen covelifeboat & penlee lifeboat remain on scene maintaining a 0.5nm cordon.h. very good vis, south easterly breeze, sea state fine j. mayday relay broadcast, lifeboats tasked & rescuehelicopter sent to scene. 2 x persons evacuated back to newlyn harbour.k. nill. lifeboats maintaining 0.5 nm cordon on the vessel.m. monitor the drift of the vessel. land based units to be tasked if the vessel is at risk of grounding n.communications ch00. sitreps received from the lifeboat every 30 minutes.cornwall fire & rescue service informed, frmr informed. vessel sunk in position 50 00.997n 005 36.175w at161733utc jul 19, 3nm ese gwenhap head.
