Cause: ex-mario. ex-caledonia. built in 1883 by oswald, mordaunt & co, southampton. owned at time of loss by angf aktieb, nike. two boilers, compound expansion engine of 184 nhp, single shaft. passage malmo for london. torpedoed in turn by german mtbs v-100, g-101, g-103 & g-104 while in convoy. (sibi). 16 lost, two injured. (r young).
