ALL OF THE SUPERSTRUCTURE HAS FALLEN AWAY AND LIES IN A FLATTENED TANGLE OF RUBBLE OF EITHER SIDE. ENGINE AND BOILER ARE RECOGNISABLE WITH THE DONKEY ENGINE AND BOILER TO THE FORE. TOWARDS THE BOWS LOOSE FITTINGS, RIBS AND GIRDERS LIE IN A JUMBLED MASS. NO NETS ON THE WRECK. BOW HAS DETERIORATED BUT STILL STANDS SOME 3MTRS OFF THESEA BED. NO BRIDGE ARTEFACTS HAVE BEEN FOUND. THIS WK HAS ONE BOILER AND A SMALL DONKEY BOILER WHICH HAS A PLATE MARKED: 'CLARKE, CHAPMAN & CO, GATESHEAD' AND '18[ 5.62K ]92'. HALL, RUSSEL WOULD NOT HAVE USED ANOTHER MAKER'S BOILER. (R YOUNG).
