LENGTH 72MTRS, WIDTH 10MTRS. DCS3 HT 6.0MTRS. LIES 075/255 DEGS. THE BOW OF A ?WARSHIP, ON ITS PORT SIDE. INTACT FOR SOME 49MTRS. FROM THIS POINT AFT HULL APPEARS TO HAVE SUFFERED SIGNIFICANT DAMAGE, BUT NOT CLEAR WHETHER THIS IS THE FULL LENGTH OF THE VESSEL. SEABED CLEAR OF ANY SIGNIFICANT DEBRIS. ROV INSPECTION CONFIRMED HULL IS INTACT FOR APPROX 40MTRS FROM THE BOW. COVERED IN NETS AND ROPES AND ANY FURTHER ROV INVESTIGATION AFT WAS NOT POSSIBLE. SUPERSTRUCTURE HAS LARGELY COLLAPSED, LEAVING NO EASILY IDENTIFIABLE ITEM. AFT OF THE WRECKAGE WHICH IS BELIEVED TO REPRESENT THE FWD SUPERSTRUCTURE, A SET OF TUBES WERE OBSERVED. TENTATIVELY IDENTIFIED AS DECK-MOUNTED TORPEDO TUBES. SEVERAL OF THE TUBES HAVE WHAT APPEAR TO BE TORPEDOES STICKING OUT OF THEM TO VARIOUS DEGREES. POSSIBLY THE SAME VESSEL AS [64519] SOME 272MTRS AWAY. (FUGRO SURVEY LTD, ATLANTIC & CROMARTY UXO SURVEY DTD MAY 2004). INS AS WK 105MTRS.
