Details measurements/cartography: H3958/73 15.8.73 LOCATED IN 503954N, 002445W [OGB] IN ABOUT 76FT IN TRANSIT SONAR & E/S SURVEY. NO ON TOP DEPTH. (KELVIN HUGHES SURVEY [K6719/1-3], 1973). CHART AS USC 15.0MTRS. NC 1652. H4121/76 19.1.77 DREDGERS WERE REGULARLY FOUND WORKING IN THIS AREA. MANY SCOURS WERE FOUND GIVING STRONG ECHOES ON THE SONAR BUT IDENTIFIABLE AS HOLLOWS, AS OPPOSED TO HUMPS, BY VIRTUE OF THE SHADOW BEING ON THE SHIP SIDE OF THE DARK CONTACT ON THE TRACE. IT IS CONSIDERED POSSIBLE THAT THIS IS A DREDGING SCOUR SINCE FILLED IN BY TIDAL ACTION. NOT FOUND IN AREA SWEEP. (HMS FOX, HI 52/76). DELETE IN VIEW OF GOOD COVERAGE IN AREA SWEEP. H4121/76 20.6.79 DIVED 16.5.78 & IDENTIFIED AS A PILE OF STONE BLOCKS. (D DILLINGHAM, SUBSERVS, 16.6.79). CHART AS FOUL. HH091/002/01 14.11.02 NOT LOCATED, DISPROVED. LIES IN AN AREA OF DREDGE SCOURS. COULD HAVE BEEN REMOVED OR BURIED BY DREDGING. (NP 1016, HI 1002). AMENDED DEAD. BR STD. SEP 2018/000198963 13.08.18 EXAM'D 05.02.18; IN 5039.804N, 0024.814W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH 22.52MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 24MTRS, LENGTH 24.3MTRS, WIDTH 21MTRS, HEIGHT 2MTRS, ORIENTATION 163/343 DEGS. A PILE OF STONE BLOCKS, CONSISTENT WITH THE 1978 DIVER'S REPORT. THE BULK OF THE STONES FORM A MOUND WITH LENGTH 18MTRS, WIDTH 10MTRS BUT OUTLIERS WIDEN THE AREA COVERED. (MMT, HI 1498). INS FOUL 22.5MTRS.
