APPLICATION FOR DESIGNATION AS PROTECTED WK SITE. (W N OLDHAM, 15.4.89). NO ACTION YET. ADU TO REPORT. HA141/02/01/01 13.12.89 DIVED ON 14/15.6.89 IN 502029.5N, 033334W [OGB] USING HSA. FIVE CANNON FOUND IN ROCK GULLIES, AVERAGING 2MTRS DEPTH WITH COARSE SHELL AND SAND INFILL. AT A DEPTH OF ABOUT 12MTRS. (ADU REPORT 050). NOT TO BE DESIGNATED AS A PROTECTED SITE. POSN FOR FILING ONLY. 30.3.99 NINE CANNON WITH CONCRETION AND POTTERY LOCATED IN JULY 1998. ONE CANNON RAISED AND DATED BY ARTILLERY CONSULTANT COLIN CARPENTER AS 1660-1680.
