A LARGE, PROMINENT SHAFT TUNNEL RUNS THROUGH THE REMAINS OF THE AFTER HOLD TO A WELL SMASHED STERN. THE PROP LIES WITHIN THIS AND ALSO APPEARS TO BE DAMAGED. FWD OF THE BOILER VERY LITTLE REMAINS. PART OF THE BOW IS IN SITU AND CONTAINS THE CHAIN LOCKER. THIS ISOLATED PIECE IS ABOUT 2MTRS HIGH AND 3MTRS IN LENGTH. A GUNSIGHT HAS BEEN RECOVERED AND DATES FROM C 1907. WK WOULD APPEAR TO BE THAT OF A MID-ENGINED COASTER OF APPROX 1,000 GT OF WW1 ERA. (N R CHIPCHASE). NCA.
