Cause: built in 1920 by forth sb & eng co ltd. owned at time of loss by cie delams freres & vieljeux. three boilers, triple expansion engine of 347nhp, single shaft. machinery by armstrong whitworth & co ltd newcastle. passage the tyne for marseilles. cargo coal. driven ashore in a gale. broke up and became a total wreck. (sibi).

WK COVERS AN AREA APPROX 100FT SQUARE WITH ONE PORTION SHOWING 1FT [LWST] AND SEVERAL OTHERS WITH DEPTHS FROM 3-5FT OVER THEM IN GEN DEPTH 12FT. (TH, 30.1.52). INS AS ST. BR STD. H6331/87 16.1.89 EXAM'D 19.8.88 IN 543745N, 010227W [OGB] USING TRISPONDER [4 LOP]. LEAST E/S DEPTH DRIES 3MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 1.5MTRS. DCS3 HT 4.5MTRS. WELL BROKEN UP AND ONLY DEBRIS VISIBLE - THE LARGEST PIECE BEING 70MTRS LONG ORIENTATED 030/210 DEG. AREA IS HEAVILY FISHED AND WK PROBABLY FOULED WITH NETS. RETAIN AS CHARTED. (LAND & MARINE, HI 414B). NCA. SEP 2017/000087052 10.8.17 EXAM'D 06.04.17; IN 5437.759N, 0102.550W [WGD]. LEAST M/B DEPTH DRIES 1.10MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 2MTRS, LENGTH 68MTRS, WIDTH 15.8MTRS, HEIGHT 3.6MTRS, ORIENTATION 033/213 DEGS. WRECK IS BROKEN UP, BOILER AND ENGINE CAN BE SEEN. (MMT, HI 1491A). AMEND ST DRIES 1.1MTRS IN REVISED POSN.
