WK LOCATED 11.8.76 IN 503523N, 002724W [OGB] USING HIFIX [2 LOP] - PRESUMED TO BE THIS ONE. LEAST E/S DEPTH 38.9MTRS IN GEN DEPTH 36-50MTRS. SEABED IS SEDIMENTARY AND RIDGED. CLASSIFIED DEFINITE WRECK. HEIGHT OF WK CALCULATED FROM SONAR SHADOW 6,3 & 7.3MTRS. DCS3 LENGTH 70MTRS. LIES 100/280DEGS. WK LIES ON THE SIDE OF A RIDGE WHICH IS SHOALER THAN THE WRECK. E/S TRACES ARE CONFUSED BY THE MANY SANDWAVES BUT THE SONAR TRACES SHOW THIS CLEARLY. (HMS FOX, HI 52/76). IN VIEW OF THE VERY UNEVEN SEABED THE SONAR HEIGHT MAY BE IN ERROR.
