Cause: ex-ciudad de inca '53, ex-pepita '30s. built in 1858 in badalona, spain. twin 6 cylinder oil engines of 175 bhp each. struck rocks close w of pentire point in nw wind and engine failed to start. 14 on board, 5 rescued by local boat, 6 made own way ashore. 1 body recovered, 2 missing. the master was convicted of manslaughter.
