LENGTH 180FT, BREADTH 70FT, HEIGHT 28FT. (AUBD 303/4, 26TH ESCORT GROUP). H3971/52 3.7.52 EXAM'D 26.6.52 IN 503504N, 025842W USING HSA. SWEPT CLEAR AT 12FMS, FOUL AT 13FMS. LEAST E/S DEPTH 82 IN GEN DEPTH 16FMS. SEA BED. FINE SAND OVER CHALK. LIES N/S, LENGTH 200FT. WK LIST REFERS TO THIS WK AS THE COMMANDER BUT SONAR RESPONSE INDICATES A MUCH LARGER VESSEL. (SCES, REPORT DTD 14.12.52, HMS SCOTT SURVEY [E9419]). CHART AS WK 12FMS [21.5MTRS]. BR STD. 23.9.70 SALVAGE WORK BEING CARRIED OUT ON THIS WK. (NERC). NCA. H1270/72 16.5.72 THIS WK FOUND TO BE AN ALMOST INTACT STEAM COASTER & THEREFORE NOT THE 'COMMANDER'. IT IS ABOUT 150 TO 200FT LONG WITH BRIDGE AFT. MASTS HAVE FALLEN. WK STANDS 20 TO 30FT HIGH IN GEN DEPTH 110 TO 115FT. HAS AN IRON PROPELLER. GIVES GOOD SONAR RESPONSE. (NERC, DTD 16.5.72). POSSIBLY THE 'MARGUERITE'. NCA. H5982/82 18.1.83 WK IN 503503N, 025840W USING DECCA. (KINGFISHER CHART K(SW)1, 1982). NCA. H2923/83 3.1.85 EXAM'D 30.6.84 IN 503506N, 025839W [OGB] USING SYLEDIS.
