Cause: built by richardson duck & co, stockton on tees. onwed at time of loss by burdick & cook ltd. two boilers, triple expansion engine of 281nhp, single shaft. passage cardiff for brest. torpedoed by u-53. at time of loss was acting as non-commissioned auxiliary on naval service as a collier. 2 men lost.
