Cause: Built 1921 by burntisland s.b. co., with triple expansion engines of 316nhp. owned at time of loss by leonhardt & blumberg. vessel was on passage hamburg to searsport, usa. went aground at w point of vogelsand, near elbe ltv, & broke in two. all 30 crew lost. (dods)
