Cause: built of iron in 1879 by bartram haswell & co ltd, sunderland. owned at time of loss by j westoll. two boilers, compound expansion engine of 167nhp, single shaft. passage cardiff for st malo. captured and sunk by uc-66 20m e of the lizard. (ll ww1, ww1sl & sibi).

BR STD. 30.8.06 30.8.06 NOT LOCATED BY GARDLINE DURING 2004 SURVEY, HI 1059. 30.8.06 30.8.06 DIVED IN 4957.763N, 0452.873W [WGD], USING DGPS, FOLLOWING REPORT BY LOCAL FISHERMAN. WK IS VERY DEGRADED, BOW SECTION STANDS UPRIGHT, 3MTRS HIGH, HULL SECTION COLLAPSED. 12 INCH BELL, NO NAME, RECOVERED. (G POUND, TELECON 29.8.06) RETAIN AS WK 68MTRS IN AMENDED POSN. BR STD.
