H1288/75 4.11.75 CONFIRM WRECKAGE LIES IN 501231N, 034705W, AS SHOWN IN PHOTOGRAPH ON P63 DEVON SHIPWRECKS. DIVED 17.9.75. THREE BOILERS AND A GREAT DEAL OF WRECKAGE FOUND, INDICATING MORE THAN ONE WRECK ON SITE. DIVING DIFFICULT - NEEDS VERY CAREFUL EXAMINATION TO SORT OUT HOW MANY WRECKS ARE ON THE MEWSTONES. (R FIELDS, 29.9.75). NCA. POSN FOR FILING ONLY. H1941/79 2.9.81 NOTHING FOUND DURING BASIC AREA SOUNDING. NOT CLOSELY EXAM'D. (HMS FOX, HI 54B/79).
