WK IS IN FAR TOO POOR A CONDITION TO BE WWII, ESPECIALLY AS IT IS A FAIRLY SHELTERED POSITION. THE LOCATION IS IDENTICAL TO WHERE SS 'FERNCLIFFE' SANK ON 19.9.1883 AFTER COLLISION WITH THE ITALIAN BARQUE 'FRATTELI GAGGINO'. WK OF 'LENY' IS THOUGHT TO BE VERY CLOSE BY. (D C WENDES, 28.1.98).
