Cause: Built in 1907 by caledon shipbuilding & engineering co. owned at the time of loss by booth ss co. was returning from le havre with approx 400 wounded british and german servicemen onboard when it was torpedoed and sunk by a german submarine 42m n 0.5 e of le havre. 34 lives lost. (dods).
