Cause: Built of iron in 1900 by cook, welton & gemmel ltd, beverly. owned at time of loss by great grimsby & east coast fishing co. one boiler, triple expansion engine of 55 nhp, single shaft. machinery by amos smith and co, hull. passage grimsby for fishing and return. badly holed in port bow in collision with ss loch lomond in dense fog.
