Cause: built 1884 by palmers' co ltd, newcastle-upon-tyne. owned at time of loss by a d'orbigny, faustin & co. two boilers, compound expansion engine of 187hp, single shaft. passage povene, spain for workington. sank following collision with ss yews [see 7343]. all 19 crew lost. (sibi).
