(sibi, bournemouth echo 1.7.08, lloyds war losses, dive dorset).

DEPTH OF SCOUR BY ECHO 7FT. SEABED COARSE SAND, SHELL AND SMALL STONES. WK IS EVIDENTLY STARTING TO BREAK UP HAVING 3FT MORE WATER OVER IT THAN IN 1958 & A LOCAL FISHERMAN REPORTED THAT HE HAD KNOCKED SEVERAL PIECES OFF WK IN RECENT YEARS. SHIP HAS BROKEN BACK, SEVERAL INTERIOR DECKS HAVE COLLAPSED. SEABED IS SAND & ROCKS. SOME SALVAGE HAS TAKEN PLACE. HOPE TO REMOVE PROP DURING SUMMER 1969.
